LAUREN CROGHAN-JOHNSON
With over 20 years of experience across the creative and events industry, Lauren Croghan-Johnson brings a deeply considered and artistic approach to floral design. Her background spans event management, wedding planning, cake design and floristry, shaping a holistic understanding of atmosphere, storytelling and the guest experience from every perspective.
Rather than identifying as a traditional florist, Lauren considers herself a natural produce artist, using the textural elements of the natural world to create sculptural, emotive works that exist within a fleeting seasonal moment.
Drawing inspiration from Australian landscapes, architecture, art and movement, her creations are recognised for their layered textures, contrasting palettes and immersive presence. Australian native wildflowers remain a defining element of the studio’s aesthetic, often paired with traditional blooms to create unexpected depth, structure and visual tension.
Every arrangement is designed in response to the space, the client and the experience it is intended to evoke - whether blending harmoniously into its surroundings or intentionally creating contrast within them.
Lauren is deeply passionate about thoughtful, sustainable practices, working exclusively with seasonal materials, locally sourced elements and reusable structures wherever possible. The studio avoids imported blooms and floral foam, while actively reducing waste through composting and material reuse.
